Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) extends a warm welcome to new and returning families as students and staff prepare to return to class.
Online Registration
Online registration for the new school year is ongoing! Parents/guardians of students who are new to PWPSD, or new to the school in which they are registering, should visit www.pwpsd.ca/registration to complete the process. Those without internet access should contact the school for assistance.
Parents/guardians of students returning to the school they attended in June, or transferring from a PWPSD feeder school, should complete the Returning Student Update Form once they receive an access code from their school on September 8.
2023-2024 School Year Calendar
The PWPSD school year calendar is available under the Home tab on our website. Families should visit their school’s website to access school-specific calendars and remember to align upcoming family vacation plans with school holidays.
Busing Information
School zones will come into effect for school days starting Tuesday, September 5. Drivers are reminded to exercise caution, adhere to posted speed limits, and remember that it is illegal to pass a school bus when red lights are flashing.
For families accessing PWPSD transportation services, if your contact information or address has changed since June, please provide current information to the PWPSD Transportation Office by completing the Student Transportation Registration form online.
Families are encouraged to download the Bus Status 4 app from the App Store or Google Play to receive timely notifications of late or cancelled buses right to their phones. Bus statuses can also be found at www.transportation.pwpsd.ca. Notifications of partial or division-wide cancellations will be shared via all available communication channels including websites, Bus Status 4, and PWPSD’s social media outlets – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Students should plan to arrive at their bus stop five minutes early and are reminded to dress for the weather.
