Eli's winning artwork and the school's new logo done by a local graphic designer.
After nearly 30 years, Harry Balfour School is excited to announce it has a new logo. The new emblem will be added to the front of the Harry Balfour replacement building, which is currently under construction, and at centre court in the gym.
To find a new logo the school held an art contest that invited students to submit their original pieces, which were then judged by a committee of parents, staff, and students. Harry Balfour School principal Jen Clevette says it was time for an update and she couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. “We had 24 students submit their artwork for the new logo, it was great to see the level of creativity and excitement.”
Grade 6 student Eli Krisko submitted the winning artwork that was sent to a local graphic designer to be turned into the school’s new logo.
