The Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) is excited to welcome Ms. Danielle Vavrek as its newest Wellness Coach. Ms. Vavrek, who grew up in the Grande Prairie area, completed her Bachelor of Science in Honours Psychology at the University of Alberta in the spring of 2021.
As Wellness Coach, Ms. Vavrek will work with students and staff throughout the entire Division. She says she is looking forward to beginning her PWPSD journey and is excited to help increase mental health awareness, while making a positive impact on all students and staff.
The additional Wellness Coach position has been made possible with support from the Alberta Health Services Mental Health Capacity Building grant, which works to promote positive mental health in children, youth, and families.
